“A Visit With the McCullough Peaks Mustangs”

Friends of a Legacy is now offering its sponsors, “A Visit with the McCullough Peaks Mustangs”, a 37-page softcover book (7 in. x 9 in.) that contains beautiful photos of the mustangs currently living in the McCullough Peaks.

The story introduces the reader to eight different mustangs living within a family band.  As each member describes the vital role that he or she plays to ensure their survival, the reader also learns about herd dynamics, behaviors, and the body language that the horses use to constantly communicate with one another. Challenges that the mustangs face, as well as successful programs that they benefit from, round out ‘The Visit’ for readers, young and old alike.  The book is a collaborative effort between FOAL board members, Michaele Dimock, who created the book and wrote its text, and Ada Inbody, who provided all of the photographs (except where noted).  All proceeds go directly towards FOAL’s mission of preserving and protecting the McCullough Peaks Mustangs.
